SAKARA GION

This is a traditional Kyoto townhouse that is rented out privately. It is located on Furumonzen-dori, which runs east from Hanamikoji-dori in Higashiyama, Kyoto, towards Chion-in Temple. Even though it is located in Gion, there is a garden where you can relax and enjoy a quiet stay. On the first floor there is a tatami room with a single sofa bed, as well as a kitchen and dining area. On the second floor there are two rooms equipped with top quality bedding from the Actus Design Company. Master bedroom: one Queen bed. Second bedroom: Two wide single beds and one narrower single bed. Guests can freely enjoy their trip as if they are in their second home in Kyoto.

A: Check-in is from 3 p.m. and check-out is by 10 a.m. If you would like to check in earlier or check out later, please contact us in advance (additional fees may apply).

Q2: Is free Wi-Fi available?

A: Yes, free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms and common areas. The password will be provided upon check-in.

Q3: Is there a parking lot?

Miyazu City: Yes, we have free parking at the Sakara Kyoto Miyazu and Miyazu Machiya locations. However, as space is limited, we ask that customers who wish to use the parking lot make a reservation in advance (details will be sent to you).

Kyoto City: No, for Sakara Kyoto Inn and Sakara Gion Machiya, we do not have a parking lot, but you can easily use nearby paid parking areas.

Q4: Are there restaurants or room service available on-site?

A: No, we do not offer meals. However, there are many local restaurants within walking distance of Sakara Kyoto. You can check them out on the guide map. Each room is also equipped with a kitchenette, so you can enjoy cooking for yourself.

Q5: Can I bring pets?

A: No, we are sorry, but we do not allow guests to bring pets.
